SUMMARY:Democracy Fair in Palo Alto
DESCRIPTION:The “No Kings” organization will hold another event with a patriotic purpose: to educate\, inspire\, and train people to defend democracy\, dignity\, and truth against authoritarianism\, cruelty\, and fear. This is highly relevant to those who recognize the central importance of separation of church and state to our democracy\, which continues to be eroded by people in power (e.g.\, Project 2025). \nThis event in Palo Alto consists of a parade along Embarcadero Road\, followed by a Democracy Fair in Rinconada Park. Parade participants will gather at 11:30am at El Camino and Embarcadero (near the entrance to Stanford University) and march to the park. \nIt helps to sign up in advance to help the organizers plan.
